The first thing we do to find pet urine odor is to find the pet urine stain we perform a UV Black light inspection this light allows us to see invisible pet urine stains on the carpet before any carpet cleaning is performed. We check the walls for traces of pet urine that may have been sprayed on by cats or territorial markings by dogs, we check the hard floors and carpet for pet urine deposits so we know exactly where and how much pet urine we are dealing with so we can determine what method or pet odor removal treatment would be best to resolve your pet odor problem.

We have several pet odor treatments that fall under the carpet cleaning and we welcome small jobs, we also restore carpets that are severely damaged by pet odor.

We do pad replacement and seal the floor with a special odor sealer so the pet urine trapped in the subfloor does not permeate back into the freshly cleaned and deodorized carpet. We also do carpet repairs so there is no job to large!

Our job is to help the Denver Home Owner make the most practical and cost effective decision to remedy the pet urine odor damage in your home so it will be 100% pet urine odor free so if you think your cat urine odor or dog urine odor is to far gone don’t worry we can still help you with a solution that you can live with.

Pet Stains Removal Specialist
AmeraClean specializes in pet stains removal and pet odor out  of carpets. Pet odor and stains require special treatment,

involving carpet padding, and fabrics

.

The age of the stains will determine the procedures we use to remove the pet stains and odor. Older stains are generally more difficult to remove, but our 4 Step Pet Treatment allows for this difficulty.
Our processes for eliminating carpet odor involve thoroughly cleaning the affected area, not just dampening the scent with deodorizers. Our techniques are safe for your family. Thoroughly cleaning the pet spots, and eliminating the odors, can reduce the probability of your pet making the same mistake twice.
Choosing a carpet cleaning professional that doesn’t specialize in pet stains may have the same results as trying to clean the spots yourself–the spots look like they are clean, then several days later, the spot reappears in the form of a yellow or orange spot. Our efficient steam cleaning and extraction processes ensure that the odor and spot are gone forever.
4 STEP PET Stain Removal:
1. First step, we precondition with a special pet treatment to dissolve the salt in the pet stain.
2. Then, we rinse to lift away the stain.
3. Next, we apply heavy duty enzyme that will continue to work for 48-72 hours.
4. Finally, we apply a special formula to remove the yellow stains.

Our awesome new product that permanently removes pet odors AND stains—all in a single step! Stains are removed by the natural power of oxygen while the odor bonding and encapsulating power of Hydrocide permanently eliminates odors. It was designed for the worst pet urine contamination. Affected areas must be completely saturated, making our Water Claw an ideal application toolOdors are immediately eliminated without leaving strong and potentially offensive fragrances behind. Plus, the persistent yellowing stains that often accompany pet urine contamination are also removed.
What is pet urine
Pet Urine Odor
from Cats and Dogs
Pet urine can seep through carpet padding and down to the Sub-floor beneath. Pet urine can delaminate a carpet and can cause rotting of carpet backing. Even after a thorough cleaning, pet urine stains and odors often remain.
Pet urine is an amber-colored liquid waste and is composed of waste products of protein metabolism
The color of pet urine and its staining potential will often depend on dietary habits,
1. Age and sex of the pet
2. Whether the pet is on medication
3. Cat diets are richer in protein than dog diets
Cat urine will produce harsher odors and are more likely to cause stains.
Unlike dogs, cats do not urinate for territorialism. This behavioral pattern in male cats is accomplished by spraying primarily on vertical surfaces. Although spraying is typically done on a vertical surface (such as a couch and the walls), it could also conceivably come in contact with a carpet.
Finding the exact source of a pet urine odor can be very difficult. Ameraclean has available AC black light (UV) pet urine stain detectors available to readily find the exact spots. Pet urine stains, under a black light, glow very distinctly. However, because these lights are very weak, it is best to turn off all lights and close the curtains when using black lights. We strongly suggest that the customer be with us during this inspection.

If you have more pictures of your pets than your kids, then this article is for you.

The Owner of Ameraclean Carpet Cleaning Denver asked me to write an article on pet odor and like all great writers I was looking for inspiration.  Then it came.  One fateful Saturday morning, after I got out of bed, showered, dressed, splashed on my $80 Allure cologne from Chanel, donned my Olex watch (they gave me a $9700 discount because it was missing an “R”) and prepared to leave for work, my wife summoned me to the garage.  And no, I am not a famous movie star being paid to endorse products.

Upon entering the garage I said, “Hurry and tell me what you want, it smells in here.”  She said, “Exactly.”  I found my inspiration!

It was a “present” left by my best friend.  And in the spirit of play he deposited it in a multiple of places just to make it more interesting for me.  The odor was so bad I could taste it for hours.  I used half a gallon of Pine-Sol just so I could stay in the garage long enough to clean up the mess.  I used Brawny paper towels and they did not fall apart.

As I was cleaning, I looked over and my dog was just sitting there wagging her tail.  I was feeling guilty over my initial thoughts and wondered if the Pine-Sol was bothering her.  I could only blame myself if it was, as it was I who was looking for inspiration.  We all love our pets!

Characteristics of Pet Urine (Dog or Cat)
Dogs and cats don’t sweat like we do.  It comes out in their urine which adds a high salt content.
Urine starts out sterile on the acidic side and changes to an alkaline, which means old urine is different than fresh urine.
Urine does not dry because the alkaline salts attract moisture and breed bacteria which continuously create odor.
Urine can bleach out and permanently stain carpets.
How We Treat Pet Odor
We use a 4-step process which safely kills the germs and bacteria that cause the odor. This process is safe for pets and gives the best odor removal results.

Our technicians carry moisture sensors which can locate unseen pet odor sources for best treatment results.

For severe cases of urine our technicians are equipped to replace the pad under the affected areas of your carpet and treat the floor as well as the carpet if necessary.

Please note that urine can leave permanent stains, discoloration and even bleach the color out of carpets.  If we can’t get the stain out, no one can.  In such cases we can often patch the area with a piece of carpet from a remnant or from an inconspicuous area like a closet.

Home Remedy

Take ½ cup of white vinegar and 2 cups of water and spray spot and blot up as much as you can.  Don’t scrub or agitate.  Then treat with an enzyme (like Nature’s Miracle) as per instructions on the bottle.
